At every Resort there are certain people who love to gather and share their knowledge of skiing and snowboarding. Here, these individuals belong to the Blue Hills Snowsports Learning Center. Our instructors are more than just qualified, they are a closely-knit team dedicated to you and your enjoyment. We believe that creating a fun environment in which to learn and grow is the key to having a great winter recreation experience. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced skier or rider, our snowsports instructors can tailor programs to fit your needs.

General Learning Center Information

• Location: On the snow outside the rental building.

• Tickets: Individual lessons do not include an Snow Pass (Lift Ticket).  A Snow Pass is required for each person using the area; all lessons must have a snowpass.

• Packages: Prices vary and some packages may include lift tickets and rentals.

• Rentals: Shaped skis and both strap or clicker snowboards are available at the ticket windows

• Other: Reservations are recommended for Mountain Mites/Munchkin/Trackers, Private & Semi-Private lessons. To make reservations call 781-828-5070. (NOTE: A credit card number is required to hold a reservation, if you do not cancel your reservation more than 24 hours before the lesson time or do not show up you will be charged 50% of the lesson cost.)  Lesson times and prices may vary without notice.

Adult Group Lesson (ages 14+) and Mountain Trackers (ages 7-14)
No reservations are taken for group lessons.

Mountain Mites (age 3; 45 min. lesson)

Mountain Munchkin (ages 4-6; 1.5 hour lesson)
For safety this program is restricted to the beginner area.  The goal of this lesson is to introduce the children to the equipment and learn how to safely get it on and off by themselves. They are introduced to maneuvering in boots, 1 and 2 skis, sliding and gliding. Depending on the skill set of the individual child, we try to achieve a gliding wedge (pizza) to a stop.  Reservations for Mountain Munchkin Lessons are highly recommended.
